LORD NITYANANDA

Narottama Dasa Thakura, one of the acharyas in the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya writes in glorification of the Lord that one will get the soothing moonlight of millions of moons when one takes shelter of Lord Nityananda’s lotus feet. If one really wants to enter into the dancing party of Radha-Krishna, he must firmly catch hold of His lotus feet.

LORD CHAITANYA

In the latter part of the fifteenth century, India’s most ex­traordinary religious, cultural, and political reformer appeared in West Bengal. His name was Sri Chaitanya, the founder of the modern-day Hare Krishna Movement. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who is regarded by many schol­ars and theologians as an incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead Krishna.

SRI GADADHARA PANDITA

From the time that he was a boy, Gadadhara Pandita was always in the association of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Sri Gadadhara Pandita’s father’s name was Sri Madhava Mishra; his mother’s name was Sri Ratnavati Devi. They lived close to the house of Jagannatha Mishra in Mayapura. Sri Ratnavati Devi looked upon Sacidevi as if Sacidevi were her big sister.

SRI SRIVAS THAKUR

Srivas Pandita is described as an incarnation of Narada Muni. Through Srivasa Thakur, Lord Chaitanya taught us how He is so much conquered by the love of His devotee and how anyone who is dear to His devotee also conquers His heart. Because young Nimai Pandita seemed to have grown arrogant by His scholarship, one day Srivasa Pandita told Him.
